Being raised in the Boy Scouts, I have always been guided in life by the motto “Leave the world a little better than you found it.” The Caravan with Doctors manages to contribute to this goal with each edition, and the fact that I, in turn, can help the Caravan represents the most beautiful opportunity I had as a student. The people I team up with in the Caravan are my daily dose of inspiration, the engine that keeps my hope alive that medicine in Romania is on the right track. The most beautiful dreams happen when we wake up, and the fact that we have so many editions to our credit is undeniable proof that there are not a few of us who have woken up from the dream and are actively contributing to a healthy Romania.
