Volunteering on the Caravan with Doctors team is an experience that is hard for me to describe in words. The time spent on the caravan is time that you give to others, only to find, at the end, that you are the one who has received more gifts in return: smiles, experience… sometimes even homemade pies, to remind you of your grandparents and the impact that a single day can have in a community in need.
