For me, the Caravan is more than a project. It represents the giving of a part of us, the volunteers, to each person we meet. The caravan is about us, who are intertwined with the joy of a lady left without children and who tells us “Oh, mother, we are left alone and no one comes anymore, I look at you like you are dear to me”. It is about the little girl who sits in the doctor’s arms and laughs without fear of injections, it is about the child who is raised only by his father and at the age of 12 comes to the doctor for the first time because “the doctors here in the village” have come. People who are left behind are calm because they received a consultation, hardworking people who, being far from the city, sometimes cannot bear to leave their animals and leave even for a few hours for their health. Children who will know that the doctor does not give injections as a punishment, but as a cure and will smile at them. I know that we can only convince people by being the ones who make things happen, so I invite students and doctors to give our best, with all the love and patience we have.
