The most beautiful moments in the life of a Caravan volunteer are those when you are face to face with the patient, a simple man from the country, handsome and gentle, slightly reluctant and emotional. In those moments you understand why you wanted to become a doctor, you know that you have the potential and the responsibility to make people’s lives better. The Caravan with Doctors is one of those special occasions that teaches you how easy it can be to give a smile. I am honored to have the opportunity to participate in this mission that confronts the Romanian medical reality and does not turn its back on those in need.
