Nothing compares to the fatigue I feel after any Caravan. It is a fatigue combined with the pleasant feeling of having spent the day helping those who are less fortunate. It is a physical and mental end that becomes even more pleasant when I remember all the simple and calm people I met and who smiled at me that day. It is an ephemeral fatigue, replaced very quickly by the enthusiasm of a new Caravan, welcoming other people who need our help and who in turn help us become better doctors.
